Only approve a download you trust; don’t disable macOS security protections. Quit the app before replacing it with a newer build.
Notchlet supports Apple Music and Spotify playback controls, track information, artwork, and seeking. Playback behavior depends on the music app and its current state. The website demo uses sample data and doesn’t play audio.
Music controls can request Automation access to Apple Music or Spotify. Calendar access is optional and used to read your agenda locally. Real audio analysis is opt-in and uses audio samples in memory; it doesn’t record or save them. No microphone or screen capture is used.
It’s an early preview of an independent app. Expect the experience to keep changing. The download is version 0.4.3; the changelog describes the committed development history. There is no automatic update service in this download.
